With security of upmost importance to BGS, SBS IT have been assisting with all aspect of their IT from policy and procedure guidance to infrastructure design and implementation and hardware supply.  These are explained further below:

Security & Policy and Procedure Guidance
With security being the upmost importance to BGS, SBS IT have worked alongside BGS to set and implement computer security policies to help protect them against any breach.

User accounts are locked down to ensure unwanted and potentially malicious software cannot be installed. Full disk encryption is deployed to ensure that in the loss of a computer, data is protected.  Anti-virus and next generation endpoint protection is deployed and managed by SBS IT.

 

Hardware Supply
With all staff members receiving new Lenovo laptops as part of a revamp in their IT, SBS IT have recommended and supplied the hardware.

As an expanding business SBS IT have been on hand to recommend and supply hardware as an when it is requested, ensuring it is future proof and meets the requirements that fit to their security policy.

Office Relocation - Data Cabling
With BGS moving offices from shared office space, SBS IT were presented with an empty shell and floorplan.  From this we data cabled the entire office as required.  Additional to this we designed and supplied the entire network setup from cabinets to network switches.

As with any business, internet access is key, so we worked with our suppliers and partners to ensure that internet connectivity was available at the right price for them to use.

Upon move date we were on hand to ensure everything went smoothly and worked successfully.

Support
SBS IT provide BGS with IT Support on a bundled hours monthly contract, which is used for support and monitoring of their systems and network.

This helps ensure that BGS’s security procedures and policies are maintained.
